Avec la nouvelle Gallardo LP 560-4, Lamborghini place une fois encore la barre nettement plus haut dans le segment des supersportives. Grâce à son moteur revu en profondeur, sa transmission intégrale permanente et un nouveau châssis, elle affiche des performances et une dynamique nettement à la hausse. Simultanément, le design innovant de la LP 560-4 continue à faire évoluer les lignes uniques de la marque. La notion d'élégance puissante se trouve redéfinie comme elle ne l'a jamais été auparavant.



La Gallardo LP 560-4 est le successeur du modèle Lamborghini le plus couronné de succès de tous les temps. Depuis 2003, quelque 7.100 exemplaires ont quitté les chaînes d'assemblage de Sant'Agata Bolognese. «La LP 560-4 renforcera encore ce succès», déclare Stephan Winkelmann, président et CEO d'Automobili Lamborghini. «Elle est supérieure à sa devancière à tout point de vue, sa dynamique est tout simplement à vous couper le souffle et son design pose de nouveaux jalons. Avec la Gallardo LP 560-4, nous allons poursuivre avec cohérence la stratégie de croissance de la marque Lamborghini.»

Le puissant coeur de la Gallardo LP 560-4 est le nouveau 5,2 l V10 qui développe 560 CV (412 kW) à 8.000 tr/min. Le gain de 40 CV par rapport à son prédécesseur, combiné à un poids de véhicule réduit de 20 kg, a permis de faire progresser le rapport poids-puissance, qui atteint désormais 2,5 kg par CV, et les performances. La LP 560-4 abat le 0 à 100 km/h en exactement 3,7 s, atteint les 200 km/h en 11,8 s et atteint une vitesse de pointe de 325 km/h. Le nouveau moteur à injection directe d'essence ( « Iniezione Diretta Stratificata » ) fascine aussi par son rendement. Malgré sa puissance sensiblement supérieure, sa consommation et ses émissions de CO2 ont pu être réduites d'un bon 18 pour cent. --->>

Automobili Lamborghini will reveal its new Gallardo LP560-4 at Geneva Auto Salon in March 2008.

The new model replaces the former Gallardo Coupé, which was first introduced to the market in 2003. The new car’s name,the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, reflects the uprated power of 560 PS, together with reference to the Lamborghini feature of permanent four-wheel drive.

“The new Gallardo LP560-4 is a significantly enhanced version of what was already an extreme car,” said Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini SpA. “With an even more sharply defined character, the new Gallardo LP560-4 is also innately elegant and sensuous : the expression of an uncompromised lifestyle. We look forward to launch our first new product for 2008 at the Geneva show.”

The new model will be shown for the first time to the international Press, on the eve of the Geneva Auto Salon. The new cars presented during the preview “Driving Ideas” organized by the Volkswagen Group will be shown at the Geneva Auto Salon from 4 March.

The new Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 will be shown on Automobili Lamborghini’s stand, number 1260 in Hall 1.

Geneva Auto Salon opens with press days on 4 and 5 March, with public days running until March 16.

The first official pictures of the new Gallardo LP560-4, as well as the product information will be available on the preview evening and on press days on Automobili Lamborghini’s stand.

Automobili Lamborghini will present three brand-new examples of vehicle personalization, intentionally drawing inspiration from the most glamorous trends of the world of fashion, at the upcoming Detroit Auto Show on January 13-26, 2008.

The proposed individualizations are part of the Ad Personam personalization program. The vehicles are based on the concept of "think of the impossible" and offers Lamborghini customers the ability to create their own "original",perfectly tailor-made super sports car.

The Gallardo Spyder will be presented in an innovative Ad Personam matte brown paint, Marrone Apus, now available on standard vehicles in the wake of the enormous success met by the Reventón, the very first Lamborghini offered with a matte finish.

Marrone Apus, an elegant shade halfway between brown and black, gives off exquisite golden reflections in the sunlight due to a pigment able to imbue the paint with an iridescent look.



The interior also exhibits a new shade of brown Alcantara, named Marrone Gaia which is used to upholster the seats. The fabric is combined with Marrone Janus and Bianco Polar leather, with the addition of Pianolac used to cover the center console and steering wheel.

A new shade of light blue, Blu Cepheus, also joins the Ad Personam program. It is proposed for the exteriors of the Murciélago LP640 Coupé and Roadster in Detroit. This pale blue is reminiscent of the naturalistic environment and is deliberately inspired by the purity and transparency of polar ice, in addition to depicting one of the most glamorous shades in fashion today.
